First public release of TinyWall+, a simple launcher for Android 9 projectors and TV boxes, developed and tested mainly on the ThundeaL TD95MAX.

Requires: Android 9 (API 28) or newer, no root

Install

  1. Copy the APK to a USB flash drive (FAT32 or NTFS).
  2. Open it with the projector's file manager and allow installation from unknown sources.
  3. Open TinyWall+ → Make default → Always.

Over ADB:

What's new in 0.10

  • App renamed to TinyWall+, name and version shown next to Wi-Fi.
  • Removed the dead HDMI button and the Source indicator.
  • Five tiles instead of six.
  • Internal hints removed from settings.
  • New TW+ icon with rounded corners.
  • Real screen resolution shown in the status bar.
  • English by default, Russian switchable in settings.
  • Five empty tiles and per-position assignment (01–05).
  • Weather next to the clock, city typed by hand.
  • Blur Off / Soft / Strong, soft by default.
  • 11 backgrounds with English and Russian names.

Testing

Verified on the author's TD95MAX and on the Android 9 emulator at 1920×1080: install,
home assignment, remote, backgrounds, weather and settings.

Notes

  • Developed and mostly tested on the TD95MAX, but nothing in it is model-specific. Other
    Android 9 devices with a 16:9 screen and a D-pad will likely work — those are untested.
  • The vendor launcher is never deleted, so you can switch back at any time.

Each address works only on its own network — anything sent on a different chain is lost
for good.

По-русски: простой лаунчер для Android 9 — пять плиток, погода, 11 обоев, английский и
русский, без root. Разработан и обкатан на проекторе TD95MAX. Установка: флешка → APK → «Сделать домашним» → «Всегда». Проверено
на реальном проекторе и на эмуляторе Android 9. Вендорский лаунчер остаётся на месте,
вернуться можно в любой момент.
