  • We develop new software to generate high-resolution topographic variables necessary for practical use in earth sciences, including precision forestry and agriculture, hydrology for landscape ecology, and regeneration dynamics. We provide an open-source Python-based package and Jupyter Notebooks for user-friendly interaction. This implementation can be found in the module GEOtiled.
  • We design and incorporate new infrastructure (distributed cyberinfrastructure and cloud infrastructure) to provide automated execution of workflows generating topographic variables. This implementation can be found in SOMOSPIE_Pegasus.
