All the commands with manage.py need to be excecuted from the src folder (cd src)
- Open folder in VS-code
- When a pop up comes up asking you to open the devcontainer, select yes
- Wait for the devcontainer start working (this may take a few minutes). Click "Open log" to see the progress
- (Optional) Run git lfs pull if you have not done so yet
- Start using the container.
Note: the default set-up is for docker. To use Podman, uncomment the commented out code in the devcontainer.json file. DO NOT push these changes since they will break the set-up for Docker users. TODO: more elegant solution.
- Install Poetry.
- Run the following command:
poetry install
From the src folder:
poetry shell
python manage.py tailwind install
python manage.py tailwind build
