Welcome to the wiki for calebhamsa.fun, Caleb's blocky corner of the internet. These pages tell you how to play: what every block on the ⛏️ Build page does, machines you can build with them, how the 🧪 Chemistry room and ⌨️ Typing game work, and experiments to try in the code.
The Build page has three tools at the bottom:
- 🧱 BUILD: tap (or drag) to put the chosen block down.
- ⛏️ DIG: tap (or drag) to take blocks away. It scoops up water too.
- ✋ USE: tap a block to make it do its thing: a switch flips, a valve opens, a note block sings.
The blocks are on five tabs. Here's what every one of them is. The same
explanations are in the game too: tap ❓ for the guide, or press and hold
a block in the palette to read about just that block. (The guide's words live
with the blocks, in each pack's guide in js/blocks/*.js.)
| Tab | What's on it |
|---|---|
| ⛏️ Blocks | Grass, dirt, stone, glass, sand and friends |
| 💧 Water | Water, steam, pipes, valves, pumps, burners |
| ⚡ Power | Batteries, wires, switches, lamps, buzzers |
| ⚙️ Gears | Gears, axles, cranks, water wheels, motors, generators |
| 🏗️ Lifting | Winches, rope, pulleys, crates and iron weights |
Then put them together: 🛠️ Machines to build.
- 🧪 The Chemistry room: build molecules out of atoms.
- ⌨️ Typing: find the keys on a real keyboard by breaking letter blocks.
- 🧪 Experiments to try: little changes to the code, to see what happens.
These pages are made from the wiki/ folder of
the code. Change them there,
not with the Edit button here: anything typed here is replaced the next time
the code is published.
