  1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading, installing, accessing, or using BoltMobile IDE ("the Application" or "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the App and uninstall it from your device.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and TechHamara ("Developer", "we", "our", or "us").

  1. Description of Service BoltMobile IDE is an offline-capable mobile integrated development environment (IDE) designed for writing, editing, and compiling Android extensions (.aix) compatible with App Inventor, Kodular, Niotron, and related block-based platforms. The Application includes code editing, dependency management, annotation processing, bytecode compilation, and related developer utilities.

  2. License Grant Subject to your compliance with these Terms, TechHamara grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Application on compatible Android devices for your personal or commercial software development purposes.

  3. Intellectual Property Ownership a. Your Projects and Code: You retain 100% of all rights, title, interest, and intellectual property in and to the source code, assets, configurations, and compiled extension (.aix) files created, authored, or built by you using BoltMobile IDE. TechHamara claims no ownership, copyright, or royalty rights over your creations.

b. The Application: All intellectual property rights, trademarks, UI designs, logos, software logic, build toolchains, and documentation comprising BoltMobile IDE remain the exclusive property of TechHamara and its licensors.

c. Open Source Components: BoltMobile IDE integrates and relies on various open-source software libraries, including but not limited to Eclipse Compiler for Java (ECJ), JetBrains Kotlin Compiler, Sora Editor, Android R8/D8, JGit, and related build tools. Each open-source component is licensed under its respective open-source license (such as Apache 2.0, EPL, MIT, or BSD). Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the terms of applicable open-source licenses.

  1. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct You agree to use BoltMobile IDE only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You specifically agree NOT to:
  • Use the Application to develop, compile, test, or distribute malicious software, viruses, spyware, trojans, ransomware, adware, keyloggers, or any software designed to compromise user security or privacy.
  • Develop extensions intended to bypass system security, violate user permissions, or breach Google Play Developer Program Policies or the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement (DDA).
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the proprietary parts of BoltMobile IDE, except to the extent permitted by applicable open-source licenses or mandatory law.
  • Use the Application in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Application or interfere with any other party's use.
  • Violate any local, national, or international laws, regulations, or third-party rights while using the App.
  1. Disclaimer of Affiliation BoltMobile IDE is an independent software project developed and maintained by TechHamara. "App Inventor" is a trademark of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). "Kodular", "Niotron", "Android", and "Google" are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. BoltMobile IDE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with MIT, Kodular, Niotron, or Google LLC.

  2. Disclaimer of Warranties THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TECHHAMARA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE APPLICATION WILL OPERATE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURELY.
  • COMPILATION RESULTS WILL BE FREE FROM BUGS, INCOMPATIBILITIES, OR DEFECTS.
  • ANY DEFECTS OR ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED.

Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TECHHAMARA, ITS DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF SOURCE CODE, DEVICE CORRUPTION, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING FREQUENT, INDEPENDENT BACKUPS OF YOUR SOURCE CODE, ASSETS, AND PROJECT FILES (USING EXTERNAL CLOUD STORAGE, GIT REPOSITORIES, OR LOCAL BACKUPS).

  1. Modification of Terms We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Any changes will be posted within the Application with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Application after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

  2. Termination We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Application immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Application will cease immediately.

  3. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable general law, without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions.
