Update OISD Block List Link

In the quick-block-lists-builtin.json file the OISD Big and OISD NSFW source URLs are https://big.oisd.nl/ and https://nsfw.oisd.nl/
I am aware that OISD at one point stopped supporting everything but abp rule filter (if I remember correctly) but later it added back support for many other filter formats again.

It publishes domain formats, and the links are, https://big.oisd.nl/domainswild2 and https://nsfw.oisd.nl/domainswild2
So, I think Technitium should use these links instead of the abp links since the domain format reduces bandwidth and disk space consumption. Currently OISD Big is about 700 KB smaller.

Actually, I have terrible download speed on oisd.nl so I can't use any of their link. I only get like 10 KB download speed, so it takes ages or doesn't ever finish downloading. I saw that another user reported here who also had an issue with the link. I assume it's not common for everyone.
But OISD filters are also available on GitHub.

So, in my quick-block-lists-custom.json, I have opted to use, https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sjhgvr/oisd/refs/heads/main/domainswild2_big.txt instead.

The GitHub links are not provided on the website so it's kind of unofficial. So, I guess you should choose the official link instead for Technitium.

Consider updating the link in the next version of Technitium if it's not problematic.

Thanks for the post. Yes, the current links are due to OISD stopping support for other formats briefly and they have been same since then. Will check this and get the URLs updated.

I just checked and the OISD official site does not list those URLs you mentioned in the post, or at least I could not find it. Unless its properly listed on the website, it will be tough to update it as those URLs may stop working later and cause issue for everyone.

Technitium DNS Server v14.0.1 is now available which resolves this issue. Do upgrade and let me know your feedback.

@ShreyasZare Yeah, it's good now. BTW, just to let you know, Mr. Hagezi apparently got a warning from GitHub regarding his repo's bandwidth usage or something like that. Many people use his filters, so probably that's why. For this reason, in his repo, he now provides the jsdelivr cdn link as the main filter link. Mirrors are gitlab and codeberg. I'm not sure if in a future release you should switch from the GitHub link or not. Technitum is already using the cdn links for his NRD filters.
I am tagging @hagezi so that he may clarify if Technitum and other similar software should switch to the cdn link in a future release.

Yes, the goal was to reduce traffic since the lists are widely used. For this reason, CDN cache links are now provided as the primary option. If possible, consider switching to CDN links to further decrease traffic.
