Main Codebase:

  • New runcheck function that will retry commands that fail. If a command exceeds 5 attempts, the script will return to the main menu
  • Runcheck is used by adding runcheck before any command that the developer wants error-checked. It should not be used on functions, only individual commands

Important Notes:

  • The Release 4 codebase is required for this, as Release 5 builds directly on top
  • To apply Release 5 code, take the Release 4 base and append the runcheck function included in the archive to the end of the main function cluster
  • The archive here does not include Release 4 or a completed test program. Developers must download Release 4 from this GitHub repo
  • Runcheck error screens can be modified to suit certain programs or situations they are used in
