Fixed

  • Constrain MCP SDK to >=1.25,<2 to prevent startup failures caused by the removed CombinationContent API in MCP 2.x.

Tests

  • Add real stdio integration coverage for initialize, list_tools, and Markdown section reads.
  • Test the minimum supported and latest 1.x SDK on Python 3.11 and 3.13 in CI.
  • Locally verified MCP 1.25.0 and 1.30.0 on both Python versions, plus the release wheel on Python 3.13.
