New in this release

• Ready to play. Download, unzip and run. No build tools or compiling.
• Install your disc in the launcher. Browse for your Point Blank (USA).cue; the launcher checks it is the right game, and Install To Game Folder copies it next to the game with a progress bar.
• PC graphics options: FXAA, contrast-adaptive sharpening, brightness and an FPS counter, alongside internal resolution, fullscreen, VSync, texture filtering, scanlines and the rest.
• Light gun settings: crosshair off / controller only / always (replacing the mouse cursor), cross, dot or ring style in three sizes, and controller aim speed.

This download contains no game data. You need your own disc image of Point Blank (USA) (SLUS-00481), as a .cue with its .bin.

How to play

1. Download PointBlank-PC-Port-v1.1.0-windows-x64.zip below and unzip it anywhere.
2. Run PointBlank_Recompiled.exe.
3. Press Browse For Disc, pick your .cue, then Install To Game Folder.
4. Press Play. Shoot the centre of the calibration target, then press A (right click or Start).

Controls

Mouse: left = shoot, right = A (start / skip), middle = B, point outside the picture to shoot off-screen.
Controller: sticks aim, RT / A / RB = shoot, LT / B = shoot off-screen, Start / X = A, Back / Y = B. A second controller plays as Player 2.

Windows SmartScreen may warn because the program is not code-signed: choose More info, then Run anyway.

Point Blank PC Port

Play Namco's Point Blank (PlayStation) natively on Windows, aiming with your mouse or a controller. No light gun or CRT TV needed.

How to install

1. Download the PointBlank-Builder zip below and unzip it. (Not GitHub's "Source code" zip, which leaves out the PSXRecomp framework.)
2. Double-click Build Point Blank.bat.
3. Let it install the build tools if it asks (a one-time download of about 6 GB).
4. Pick your own Point Blank (USA) disc image .cue (SLUS-00481).
5. After 15 to 30 minutes the game is ready in the PointBlank folder.

The builder makes the PC version on your computer from your own disc. No game files are included or downloaded.

What's in it

• An emulated Namco GunCon: aim and shoot with the mouse, exactly where you point
• Xbox, PlayStation and other controllers, with an on-screen sight (red for P1, blue for P2)
• Two players with a second controller
• The long intro movies skipped (switch them back on in the launcher's Mods list)
• The game's own calibration, menus and every mode, running as native code
