Highlights

  • Faster dashboard summary APIs — GET /api/overview, /api/releases/summary, /api/sessions/summary, and /api/sessions use window-bounded identity scans, SQL aggregation, and page-then-enrich session lists. Metric formulas and response shapes are unchanged.
  • Query indexes — composite and TRIM(release) expression indexes so 24h summaries do not scale with all-time event volume.

Upgrade (self-hosted)

From v1.17.12, run migrations after deploy:

pnpm --filter api exec prisma migrate deploy

New migrations in this release:

  • 20260910220000_dashboard_query_perf_indexes

These are additive btree / expression indexes (not CREATE INDEX CONCURRENTLY). Expect a short write lock on Event, Session, and ErrorOccurrence while they build.

SDK compatibility

Platform v1.17.x works with existing @telemetry-tracker/* SDKs. No ingest contract change.
