X4 Pro dùng tenor-cross-v1.0.65-x4pro.bin trong cùng bản phát hành. Nạp qua cáp USB cho máy đang chạy v1.0.59 trở lên: giải nén gói mã nguồn, đứng trong thư mục đó chạy python3 tools/nap.py với tệp X4 Pro (cần pyserial và esptool), rồi xác nhận trên màn máy. / The X4 Pro uses tenor-cross-v1.0.65-x4pro.bin from the same release. Over the USB cable, for a device already on v1.0.59 or later: unpack the source package, run python3 tools/nap.py in that folder with the X4 Pro file (needs pyserial and esptool), then confirm on the device screen.

v1.0.65 adds the Bluetooth page turner to the X4 Pro firmware. On the X4 Pro, pages now keep their gray anti-aliasing while Bluetooth is on.

Before you update

• X3/X4 firmware: tenor-cross-v1.0.65-x3-x4.bin, 6,405,888 bytes, SHA-256 332322a8ba585557fe6548e6f9211efbaeb5e461a7199f58ad5e42c456b97b95. Use the SD card or USB at offset 0x10000.
• X3/X4 factory firmware: tenor-cross-v1.0.65-x3-x4-factory.bin, 6,471,424 bytes, SHA-256 ce8c128062a7c4823ea3714a88d94f30e84586d5747b5a9aa4ce0038378ab42e. Use it for a fresh USB install at offset 0x0.
• X4 Classic firmware: tenor-cross-v1.0.65-x4c.bin, 6,415,808 bytes, SHA-256 ce067826c09059b522f799635e364ea10c1394b4207819c2f7ca5ff6c03d6722. Only for the X4 Classic (ESP32-S3). Update over the air from Settings, or install by cable. Do not install it on an X3, X4 or X4 Pro.
• X4 Pro firmware: tenor-cross-v1.0.65-x4pro.bin, 6,489,504 bytes, SHA-256 8fde55a98035f4e6fc843579e785965d070456eae1375dc6ffed3f65424efb14. Copy it to the root of the card as firmware.bin and update from the device menu, or flash it by cable with tools/nap.py on a device running v1.0.59 or later. An X4 Pro on v1.0.56 to v1.0.64 updates to this release over the air, from Settings > About & updates > Find updates. Use it on the X4 Pro only.
• The 7 font packages are unchanged from v1.0.61 and still download from the same place.
• Keep the v1.0.64 files in case you need to go back, and check the SHA-256 before flashing.
• The X3 and the X4 Classic have been flashed with this release and boot on real hardware. The X4 Pro ran a measurement build from the same source on a real device.

X4 Pro

• The Bluetooth page turner now ships in the X4 Pro firmware. No earlier X4 Pro release included it. Pair a page turner under Settings > Device > Bluetooth turner.
• Bluetooth runs while a book is open and on the Bluetooth turner screen. Leaving the book turns it off; open a book again and the remote reconnects within a few seconds.
• Pages keep their gray anti-aliasing while a remote is connected. The black and white page snapshot now lives in PSRAM, which leaves internal RAM for Bluetooth.
• Tested on an X4 Pro with a Bluetooth HID keyboard as the remote: paired from the Bluetooth turner screen, 60 presses turned 60 pages, all with gray. A remote switched off and on again reconnects at once, and stays connected through 60 seconds idle.

X4 Classic

• The black and white snapshot used for gray rendering now lives in PSRAM, which frees about 48 KB of internal RAM. 100 page turns on a measurement build, 0 errors.

Known limits

• The X4 Classic still has no Bluetooth: its app slot is too small for the Bluetooth stack.
• X4 Pro: reconnecting the remote after the device sleeps and wakes has not been tried.
• A card that locks up completely is not recovered by the automatic restart. Take the card out, put it back in, and turn the device on again.
• X4 Pro: fast typing by touch on the on-screen keyboard has not been measured for dropped touches.
• WebDAV: after a pull finishes, leave the WebDAV screen and open it again to pull more.
• X4 Pro: the WebDAV screen works with the buttons only, touch is not wired yet.

X4 Pro

• Firmware X4 Pro nay có bộ lật trang Bluetooth. Các bản X4 Pro trước chưa có tính năng này. Ghép bộ lật tại Cài đặt > Thiết bị > Bộ lật Bluetooth.
• Bluetooth hoạt động khi đang đọc sách và khi mở màn Bộ lật Bluetooth. Khi rời sách, Bluetooth tắt. Khi mở sách lại, bộ lật tự nối lại sau vài giây.
• Trang sách vẫn giữ sắc xám khử răng cưa khi bộ lật đang nối. Bản chụp đen trắng của trang được lưu trong PSRAM, dành chỗ trong RAM cho Bluetooth.
• Đã thử trên X4 Pro với một bàn phím Bluetooth HID làm bộ lật: ghép qua màn Bộ lật Bluetooth, 60/60 lần bấm đều lật đúng 60 trang, trang nào cũng có sắc xám. Tắt rồi bật bộ lật, máy nối lại ngay. Để yên 60 giây, kết nối vẫn được giữ.

X4 Classic

• Bản chụp đen trắng dùng khi vẽ sắc xám nay được lưu trong PSRAM, chừa thêm khoảng 48 KB RAM trong. Đã lật 100 trang trên bản đo, 0 lỗi.

Còn vướng

• X4 Classic vẫn chưa có Bluetooth: vùng ứng dụng của máy quá nhỏ để chứa bộ Bluetooth.
• X4 Pro: chưa thử khả năng bộ lật nối lại sau khi máy ngủ rồi thức.
• Thẻ nhớ kẹt cứng thì lượt tự khởi động lại không cứu được. Rút thẻ ra, cắm lại rồi bật máy.
• X4 Pro: chưa đo xem gõ nhanh bằng cách chạm phím ảo trên màn hình có làm mất lần chạm hay không.
• WebDAV: sau khi kéo xong một lượt, muốn kéo tiếp thì thoát màn WebDAV rồi vào lại.
• X4 Pro: màn WebDAV hiện chỉ điều khiển bằng nút, chưa chạm được.
