X4 Pro dùng tenor-cross-v1.0.75-x4pro.bin trong cùng bản phát hành. Nạp qua cáp USB cho máy đang chạy v1.0.59 trở lên: giải nén gói mã nguồn, đứng trong thư mục đó chạy python3 tools/nap.py với tệp X4 Pro (cần pyserial và esptool), rồi xác nhận trên màn máy. / The X4 Pro uses tenor-cross-v1.0.75-x4pro.bin from the same release. Over the USB cable, for a device already on v1.0.59 or later: unpack the source package, run python3 tools/nap.py in that folder with the X4 Pro file (needs pyserial and esptool), then confirm on the device screen.

English

v1.0.75 fixes the clock sync over Wi-Fi on the X4 Pro, which often skipped the time zone lookup. After a sync, the clock switches to the zone it found right away. On the X4 Pro, a tap in the narrow strip under the bottom bar now counts as a tap on the bar. The font store is unchanged. The chapter cache version remains 58.

• X3/X4 firmware: tenor-cross-v1.0.75-x3-x4.bin, 5,575,472 bytes, SHA-256 27940295fb760901ba774ef94552fd2105693331f0ff3c63427295f0a5bfd589. Use the SD card or USB at offset 0x10000.
• X3/X4 factory firmware: tenor-cross-v1.0.75-x3-x4-factory.bin, 5,641,008 bytes, SHA-256 7190ebef7985b30bb94f3c86b48ca2b6298b3c372a15ee6c90b294553a3ed95e. Use it for a fresh USB install at offset 0x0.
• X4 Classic firmware: tenor-cross-v1.0.75-x4c.bin, 5,814,672 bytes, SHA-256 f104344e5cacc2af26d80e6c36d45c041d409de38463f2f6e50cba971f2aaf34. Only for the X4 Classic (ESP32-S3). Update over the air from Settings, or install by cable. Do not install it on an X3, X4 or X4 Pro.
• X4 Pro firmware: tenor-cross-v1.0.75-x4pro.bin, 5,855,344 bytes, SHA-256 03b1f481527f73a7cd67643442b44f16cd8e8d3fe351a8fe39e221421ef22934. Copy it to the root of the card as firmware.bin and update from the device menu, or flash it by cable with tools/nap.py on a device running v1.0.59 or later. An X4 Pro on v1.0.56 to v1.0.74 updates to this release over the air, from Settings > About & updates > Find updates. Use it on the X4 Pro only.
• The font store is unchanged: 30 fonts in the same 30 packages as v1.0.72 and v1.0.74, at the same address (v1.0.72/fonts). Devices on v1.0.72, v1.0.74 and v1.0.75 use the same store, and nothing is downloaded again.
• fonts.zip and the SD package carry 6 fonts: Be Vietnam Pro, Geist, Literata, Livvic, Noto Sans and Noto Serif, the same files as in v1.0.74.
• Keep the v1.0.74 files in case you need to go back, and check the SHA-256 before flashing.
• The chapter cache version remains 58.

Clock

• On the X4 Pro, Sync Clock over Wi-Fi now also finds the time zone. Before, after joining Wi-Fi the X4 Pro often had too little memory left and skipped the time zone lookup, so the clock stayed on UTC (or on the last zone found).
• The time on the confirmation screen and in the status bar switches to the zone just found right away. Before, it changed only after the next restart.

Touch

• On the X4 Pro, a tap in the narrow strip under the bottom bar (the last 16 px of the screen) now counts as a tap on the bar: the tabs, the reader menu tools and the back button. Under the jump-back bar shown after a jump, that strip still opens the Text menu, as before.

Known limits

• The X4 Pro has no tilt settings. Tilt navigation in the menu is available only on the X3 and X4 Classic.
• X3 downloads at about 46 KB/s, so a 10 MB font takes about 4 minutes.
• Replacing a .cpfont font with TTF removes the old font before sending the new one.
• With smoothing off, some neighboring weight levels differ by only about 4.4 to 4.9% black pixels.
• The first time each page of the installed font list opens, the X3 needs about 0.2 to 0.3 s more to draw each font's name in its own letters.
• On some domestic X3 units, the sleep screen still shows ink bleeding. This release does not fix it yet.
• On the X3, the time zone lookup can still be skipped after a long reading session. It works right after the device starts.
• The time server (NTP) occasionally does not answer within 5 s. Run Sync Clock again.

Đồng hồ

• Trên X4 Pro, Đồng bộ đồng hồ qua Wi-Fi nay tìm được cả múi giờ. Trước đây, sau khi kết nối Wi-Fi, X4 Pro thường thiếu bộ nhớ nên bỏ qua bước tra múi giờ. Đồng hồ khi đó vẫn hiển thị giờ UTC hoặc giờ theo múi giờ lần trước.
• Giờ trên màn xác nhận và trên thanh trạng thái đổi ngay sang múi giờ vừa tìm. Trước đây giờ chỉ đổi sau lần khởi động lại kế tiếp.

Chạm

• Trên X4 Pro, chạm vào dải hẹp dưới thanh đáy (16 px cuối màn) nay được tính là chạm vào thẻ, công cụ trong menu đọc hoặc nút quay lại trên thanh. Khi thanh quay về hiện ra sau khi nhảy trang, chạm vào dải phía dưới thanh vẫn mở Menu chữ như trước.

Còn vướng

• X4 Pro không có cài đặt nghiêng. Thao tác nghiêng trong menu chỉ có trên X3 và X4 Classic.
• X3 tải khoảng 46 KB/s, nên 1 font 10 MB mất khoảng 4 phút.
• Thay font .cpfont bằng TTF sẽ xóa font cũ trước khi gửi font mới.
• Khi tắt làm mịn, vài cặp mức độ đậm kề nhau chỉ khác khoảng 4,4 tới 4,9% điểm đen.
• Lần đầu mở mỗi trang của danh sách font đã cài, X3 cần thêm khoảng 0,2 tới 0,3 giây để vẽ tên bằng chữ của từng font.
• Trên vài X3 bản nội địa, màn ngủ vẫn còn lem mực. Bản này chưa sửa lỗi đó.
• Trên X3, bước tra múi giờ vẫn có thể bị bỏ qua sau một buổi đọc dài. Ngay sau khi máy khởi động thì bước này chạy được.
• Máy chủ giờ (NTP) thỉnh thoảng không trả lời trong 5 giây. Chạy lại Đồng bộ đồng hồ.
