tutorial-creator v2.1.1
What's in v2.1.1
A fix for the command that starts the skill, and a README in plainer words.
Using tutorial-creator as a plugin? Update to get this release. Plugins don't update on their own unless you've turned that on. Run these two commands in your terminal:
claude plugin marketplace update tutorial-creator
claude plugin update tutorial-creator@tutorial-creator
Then start a new Claude Code session. If you installed with git clone, run git pull in that folder instead.
Fixed
-
The command to start the skill now works. The README, the command guide, and the skill's own messages said to type
/skill tutorial-creator, which Claude Code doesn't recognize. Type this instead:- Installed as a plugin:
/tutorial-creator:tutorial-creator - Installed by hand:
/tutorial-creator
You can also just ask in plain words, like "make me a tutorial from this file."
- Installed as a plugin:
-
Commands the skill suggests work too. When it tells you how to undo a change or what to try next, it now uses the same form you started it with.
Changed
- The README uses plainer words, and three details now match what the skill does: the React hook example is TypeScript, not Swift; a word drops to confused when two of your last three answers are wrong or only half right; and pulling in vocabulary drafts a note on when you'd use each term, not a code example.
Full details are in the CHANGELOG.
