Highlights

  • ESP8266 support. NodeMCU, Wemos D1 mini and other ESP8266 boards (core 3.1.2). TLS runs over BearSSL with the same bundled root certificates, HMAC-SHA256 over BearSSL's hash. The API is the same as on the ESP32.
  • Used by the HydroNode device builder for ESP8266 firmware and generated ESP8266 projects.

Compatibility

  • ESP32 sketches compile and behave unchanged.
