FusionHUD v1.0
FusionHUD is a lightweight, forkable in-game performance overlay for Android (Winlator / Wine / PC-emulation projects) — the MangoHud-inspired HUD extracted from Bannerlator so any project can adopt it.
What you get
- The Fusion HUD — one overlay, 5 tap-cyclable sizes (Full / Tiles / Pill / Minimal / Mega) with toggleable per-metric chips.
- A hardened, cross-vendor metric backend — FPS + frametime graph, CPU (aggregate + per-core), GPU %/clock/temp, thermals, RAM/VRAM, battery (with the mA/µA current-unit auto-detect that fixes
0.0Won OEMs like HONOR), and network — with graceful fallbacks across Adreno · Mali · PowerVR · Xclipse. - Diagnostics export for triaging metric gaps on unusual devices.
- Composited ~1 Hz off the present path — designed not to cost frames.
How to adopt it
- Gradle (JitPack): add JitPack and depend on
com.github.The412Banner:FusionHUD:v1.0— or grab thefusionhud-release.aarattached below. - Fork the source: the HUD keeps stable
com.winlator.star.*package names so a Winlator-family fork can drop the files in directly; shims are provided for the few app couplings. - Try it first: install the attached demo APK — it overlays the HUD on a fake animated game with buttons to cycle sizes / lock / accent / diagnostics.
