Experimental. Not tested on a device yet. This release is replaced in place every time the driver is rebuilt.

Which phones

Samsung Xclipse 920 / 530 / 940. Chips: Exynos 2200, Exynos 1480, Exynos 2400 / 2400e (940 is experimental). Phones: Galaxy S22 / S22+ / S22 Ultra (Exynos models), Galaxy A55, Galaxy S24 / S24+ (Exynos models), Galaxy S24 FE. Not the Snapdragon versions of these phones, and not Exynos 1580 (Xclipse 540).

• Linux half (RADV-Xclipse-upstream-Linux.zip): runs inside DroidDeck's Linux for Steam and games (runtime slot). Built here from public source.
• Android half (RADV-Xclipse-upstream-Android.zip): the author's official release v1.8.0, unchanged. It draws DroidDeck's screen (display slot).
• Pair (RADV-Xclipse-upstream-Pair.zip): both halves in one zip, in DroidDeck's driver-bundle layout.

• Note: Manual option, not the default (the default is RADV-Xclipse, built from v1.6.0-RC, which testers measured faster). This is JimVulkan's v1.8.0 on Mesa 27.0.0-devel, both halves: everything in v1.6.0 (tessellation and transform feedback fixes, BC terrain-texture fix, less memory for BC7 and signed BC4/BC5), BC6H at half the memory (v1.7.0), and in v1.8.0 BC6H/BC7 loading about twice as fast, the BC6H signed/unsigned fix (wrong lighting in DXVK games) and unsigned BC4 at a third of the memory. Less texture memory matters on 8 GB phones, where heavy games were killed by Android for memory. Ray tracing is untested upstream. In the Linux half the author's Android properties do not exist; use RADV_XCLIPSE_BC7SRGB_RGBA8=1 (exact sRGB BC7) and RADV_XCLIPSE_BCSNORM_EXACT=1 (exact signed BC4/BC5) instead.

Testing

DroidDeck does not load non-Adreno drivers yet; that comes in a DroidDeck test build. Until then the Linux half can be tried by hand in DroidDeck's desktop terminal. Report results with logs in the DroidDeck Discord testing thread.
