MSX PS5 1.0 - an MSX emulator (blueMSX) for jailbroken PS5s, with a 3D game shelf.

  • Games stand on the shelf as their box, cartridge or floppy (L3 switches); L2 / R2 turn them, with trigger resistance.
  • Swipe up on a cartridge and blow into the controller's microphone to clean its contacts.
  • Box art, box backs and screenshots downloaded by themselves; favorites; ten original shelf tunes and sound effects.
  • CRT shaders, save states, rewind, fast forward, FM-PAC / MSX-MUSIC, controls per game.

Install: download MSXPS5-v1.0.zip and unzip it. Send MSXPS5.elf with your payload loader and open the app once, copy the zip's bios folder contents (Machines, Databases) to /data/msx/bios and your games to /data/msx/roms. Cartridges run on the free C-BIOS; disk and tape games need your own MSX BIOS. Full setup (copying files, BIOS, covers) in the README.

No games or copyrighted BIOS files are included.
