🔧 Improvements

  • Xcode 27 / Swift 6.4: ProgressReporter is renamed to FCPXMLProgressReporter so it does not collide with Foundation’s ProgressReporter (macOS 27 / iOS 27). ProgressBar still conforms. This is a source-breaking rename; there is no ProgressReporter typealias because it would keep the ambiguity. Sign fcpxml-progress-reporter-not-foundation.
  • Documentation sync: Manual 00–01 / 04 / 11 / 13 / 17–19 / 22 (canonical FCPXMLProgressReporter in 18; silence trimStart/trimEnd and parallel I/O readFiles(from:) / writeFiles(dataAndURLs:) in 13); Tests/README media-processing APIs; Coverage related manuals; ARCHITECTURE mermaid + collision file name; AGENT / .cursorrules Utilities; GUARDRAILS naming.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Xcode 27 CLI build: OpenFCPXMLKit-CLI failed with 'ProgressReporter' is ambiguous for type lookup in --media-copy (ExtractMedia.swift). Clients that imported Foundation and OpenFCPXMLKit hit the same collision.
