Tutorial: Fixing "Bad Credentials" Issues

Problem: You're getting a "Bad Credentials" error when trying to log in through Ninja Bot.

Follow the steps below in order. Each step addresses a common cause of this error.

1. Verify Your Password

Make sure the password is correct and has not been changed or expired.

2. Check Your Fingerprint Version

Ensure your browser fingerprint is not outdated (for example, using an old Chrome version like 110).

Refer to the New Bot Account Creation tutorial for recommended fingerprint settings.

3. Verify Your IP Reputation

Check whether your IP is being flagged as a Proxy or VPN, which may cause authentication failures.

4. Confirm Ninja Bot Is Up to Date

Make sure you are running the latest version of Ninja Bot, as outdated versions may cause authentication or compatibility issues.

5. Try a New Fingerprint

Generate and use a fresh fingerprint to avoid conflicts with previously blocked or detected sessions.

6. Last Resort: Use the Bearer Token Method

If all previous steps fail, authenticate using the Bearer Token method.
