v0-11
G3 v0.11 is released, and what comes with it is a much more well defined relative system
Relatives
Swapping out UDim2s for Relatives
As I have found out recently, UDim2s cannot be decimal values, and so UDim2s (Position and Size) now have seperate Position / Size and RelativePosition / RelativeSize.
Auto scaling
While relative scaling updates when you change it (of course), relative scaling also updates in changes of offset
This would mean that relative screen size is preserved, even after you move it further out, keeping it at a constant percentage on screen
Full screen scaling
This is pretty self explanatory, but make sure to account for the potential screen radius on mobile devices cutting off the screen (Particularly on 1, 1 RelativeSize / RelativePosition)
Screen safe scaling
Screen safe scaling is finally functioning
Screen safe scaling is turned on by default, although you can turn it off in the config (c.relativeScalingUsesScreenSafeSpace)
Screen safe scaling scales relative to the screen safe area, as seen in this purple screensafe frame
Importantly, screen safe scaling slightly shifts the screen upwards, to fit the screen
While this may not seem that bad, it will affect your resulting GUI
Updating Relatives
On PCs, you can resize the size of the screen window to change the size of the screen
To account for this, lib.config.updateRelatives controls updating the relative scaling when the screen size changes
While this is usually a good thing, you can turn it off if it messes with your ScreenGui ratios, g3Part ratios, etc.
As you can see in the gif above, the blue square stays in the top left. Without updatingRelatives, the square would drift from the top left as all relatives were accounting for an old screen size that is no longer in use
There is some input lag, and that is just because ScreenGui's absolute sizes' update some time after the window is resized. This makes updatingRelatives update later, causing the input delay.
