• Sync Vault action. Pulls changes made on another device down into the CLI's local
  copy, so the item picker and the Get action see them. Optionally puts the time of the
  last sync on the key.

Fixed

• Keys configured with the 2.0 item picker only worked while the vault list was loaded.
  The picker stored the label it shows - GitHub (octocat) - and looked the entry's id up
  in the list fetched by Load. The property inspector drops that list from the action's
  settings the moment anything is typed, so it was gone by the next Stream Deck start and
  the key asked the CLI for an item literally named GitHub (octocat), which matched
  nothing. The entry's id is now stored beside its label and survives on its own. Keys
  already configured this way repair themselves: the first press after updating looks the
  label up once and remembers what it found.

The first release since 2023, and a large one.

The plugin is now published on the Elgato Marketplace, which is the recommended way to install it - Stream Deck handles updates from then on. The package attached here is the same build, for anyone who would rather install it by hand.

Requires Stream Deck 6.9 or newer. This is the minimum the Elgato store accepts. Windows only; the macOS and Linux code paths exist and build from source, but are not shipped here.

No .NET install needed - the build carries its own runtime.

• Generate Password action. Passwords or passphrases with the same options as the Bitwarden generator, typed at the cursor, copied to the clipboard, or both. Works on a locked vault.
• Searchable item picker. Load your vault once, then type to search it. Entries are labelled with their username so several logins for the same site can be told apart, and a clear button resets the selection.
• Username+Password in one press. Types the username, Tab, then the password.
• New action icons. Lock, Unlock, Get Item Information and Generate Password now use a matching set of Font Awesome icons: a lock, an open lock, a key and dice.
• macOS and Linux code paths. Typing goes through osascript on macOS and xdotool/ydotool on Linux.

Fixed

• TOTP typed the stored seed, not a code. The TOTP option typed the raw base32 secret from the vault entry, which no login form accepts. It now asks the CLI for the current six digit code on every press.
• A Bitwarden CLI process per keystroke. Typing in the item field reloaded the whole vault on every character, which also rewrote the field mid-typing and made characters jump and disappear. The list is fetched once, when you press Load.
• Hangs on a locked vault. A bw command that wanted to prompt - which is what a locked vault produces - waited forever on input that could never arrive. Prompts are now turned off, so it fails and reports instead.

Under the hood

• .NET 10 and BarRaider's StreamDeck-Tools 7.
• A unit test suite, integration suites covering real Linux typing and an end to end run against a throwaway Vaultwarden server, a dev container and CI.
• Credentials are handed to the typing helpers over stdin rather than as command line arguments, so they cannot be read out of the process list.
