Version 2.0.0 of Custom Cursor

Additions

  • Complete UI redesign with a refined "dark glass" style (panels, cards, and buttons with new consistent tones and translucent borders throughout the app)
  • The top action bar is now a segmented toolbar (🔄 Update | 📹 Tutorial | ⚙️ Settings) joined into a single pill with dividers and tooltips
  • The Categories sidebar is now a flat list with a left accent bar that highlights the selected category (previously there was no visual indication of the active category)
  • New preview button (👁️) on every cursor scheme card, opening the full preview showing every cursor in the set, both animated (.ani) and static (.cur)
  • "Install Selected" button now uses the same highlighted (gradient) style as "Apply This Cursor Scheme" for stronger visual hierarchy
  • Default window size on launch set to approx. 1285x846

Bugfix

  • Fixed a severe UI freeze when opening the preview for schemes with several animated (.ani) cursors. The cause was that every animation frame was first written to a temporary file on disk before loading, which could be very slow (especially with real-time antivirus scanning). Frames are now decoded directly in memory, without touching disk
  • Fixed a compiler warning (CS8600) caused by a variable that could be null without being declared as such
