- Renamed to Mosaic Mod Manager. The project is no longer an upstream-tracking fork of Amethyst Mod Manager — see ATTRIBUTION.md for credit to the original project this began as. Version numbering resets to v1.0.0 to mark the relaunch; nothing below this point ever shipped as a v2.0.6 release, so this section carries that unreleased work forward under the new name and number
Additions
- Added a per-mod reorder lock: locked mods can't be dragged, sorted, moved to a separator, removed, or moved to another profile until unlocked (rename and notes remain available). "Set priority…" shows greyed out while locked
- Added the ability to copy or move separators (name, colour, lock state) to another profile, preserving their relative order
- Added a dedicated "Locked" column for the per-mod reorder lock (click to toggle), hidden by default but automatically shown when a loaded profile actually has a locked mod, so shared/imported profiles surface their locks
- Baldur's Gate 3 mods installed from mod.io now have their mod ID, version, uploader and tags identified automatically at install time, without needing to run "Check for Updates" first
- The Category, Uploaded By and Version columns now show mod.io tags/uploader/version for mods that have no Nexus metadata
- Baldur's Gate 3 mods flagged with a mod.io update can now be updated directly from the modlist — click the update flag or use "Quick Update (mod.io)" in the right-click menu — instead of having to open the mod.io page and install the file manually
Changes
- Fixed the "Show / hide columns" tooltip capitalisation to "Show / Hide columns"
Bug Fixes
- Fixed mods not retaining their priority order when copied or moved to another profile while the modlist was sorted by a column or in reverse-priority view
- Fixed separator colour/lock/collapsed state not being fully cleaned up when a separator was removed
- Fixed mod and separator reorder-lock state being silently dropped from share-code (AMMCODE1) exports and imports
- Fixed "Export as Mosaic package" refusing to export profiles containing mod.io-identified mods; such mods are now bundled into the export like other bundle-sourced mods
- Fixed mod.io update detection reporting a false "update available" when the newest uploaded file was a hidden/test build rather than the mod's actual public release
- Fixed mod.io uploader/tags staying permanently blank for mods identified before those fields existed; "Check for Updates" now backfills them
- Fixed mod.io update checks repeatedly retrying (with several seconds of backoff each time) mods whose pak carries a leftover/placeholder PublishHandle that was never actually published to mod.io
- Fixed installed mods sometimes not appearing in the modlist until "Refresh Modlist" was clicked — using the "Rename mod after install" prompt could save a stale copy of the modlist over the mod's just-written entry
- Fixed a data-loss race where two near-simultaneous writes to modlist.txt (e.g. a background install and a manual reorder/toggle) could silently drop one of them
- Fixed Deploy/Restore being able to start while a mod install or collection install was still running, which could make the install write its files/index against the wrong profile
