🗺️ Welcome to Knox Atlas 0.1.0

Knox Atlas is a read-only companion map for Project Zomboid. It presents an interactive atlas using game data already installed on your computer.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

  • Explore towns, streets, businesses, buildings, landmarks, and waterways
  • Search by name or jump directly to X/Y coordinates
  • Filter businesses, likely-loot zones, building types, and vehicle spawn pools
  • Save named, color-coded custom markers
  • Set a position and destination to view distance.
  • Copy coordinates and save a preferred map view
  • Keep the atlas open on a second monitor or check it while playing

Knox Atlas does not edit Project Zomboid or its save files. Some layers represent game-authored zones and possible spawn locations rather than confirmed live loot, vehicles, or player positions.

📦 Downloads

  • Windows Installer: Run the setup EXE and follow the Windows prompts. This creates normal Windows shortcuts and an uninstall entry.
  • Portable ZIP: Extract the ZIP into a writable folder and run Knox-Atlas.exe. Keep the included files together. Microsoft WebView2 must already be installed.

You only need one of these downloads.

The source code and automated build workflow are available for anyone who would like to inspect or build Knox Atlas themselves.
