Chunkstone 1.7.0

Chunkstone 1.7.0 is the first official native Windows x64 release: a local desktop toolkit for mapping, pruning, repairing, optimizing, converting, inspecting, and publishing Minecraft worlds.

Choose a download

  • Chunkstone-Setup-1.7.0-x64.exe - recommended installer with update detection, Start Menu integration, optional desktop shortcut, and uninstaller.
  • Chunkstone-1.7.0-Portable-x64.zip - portable build; extract the entire archive before starting Chunkstone.exe.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt - official checksums for both packages.

Warning

Close Minecraft and other world editors, work on a copy, and maintain an independent tested backup. Pruning, repair, conversion, record deletion, and NBT editing can permanently change a world.

Highlights

  • View Bedrock terrain through a viewport-driven map with coordinate navigation, hover details, grids, overlays, and closer block detail.
  • Draw, move, resize, save, reload, and remove protected or explicit-prune regions.
  • Prune outside protected regions or remove only selected chunks using modal progress and backup workflows.
  • Scan supported chunk payloads without modifying them, display exact corruption reasons, and remove confirmed malformed chunks for Minecraft regeneration.
  • Browse supported Bedrock NBT, preview saved maps and structures, export .mcstructure, and delete selected records after backup.
  • Track locally observed player NBT changes and notify after a configurable 30-day threshold.
  • Perform best-effort Java and Bedrock conversion through the bundled local Chunker runtime.
  • Preview and publish self-contained offline web maps with dimensions, crop bounds, grids, markers, overlays, presets, and ZIP output.

Audited runtime

This release uses nbtlib and Chunkstone's first-party adapter over the vendored BSD LevelDB code. The packaged tree was checked to ensure the previously restricted Amulet runtime is not present. Redistributed license texts are included in both packages.
