VideoToScreensaver v1.8

Install

• Download VideoToScreensaver-Setup.exe from this release.
• Run the installer, then launch VideoToScreensaver from Start Menu.

Update

• Open the installed app.
• Select Update App.
• Confirm the update prompt and let the app restart.

Changes

• Refreshed the main UI with a sharper resizable layout, cleaner grouping, and less instructional clutter.
• Centralized Tk theme setup so future UI changes are easier to keep consistent.
• Removed unused uninstall helper code and stale UI state.
• Updated build_app.py to create both VideoToScreensaver.exe and the VideoToScreensaver.zip package used by in-app updates.
• Hardened PowerShell launch/build scripts so they skip Python shims or venv launchers that cannot actually start.
