• Which firmwares work? 13.00, 13.20 and 13.60. 13.60 is tested; 13.00/13.20 are provided for parity with Byepervisor but untested.
• Will >= 14.00 firmwares be supported? Not by this payload.
• Can I dual-boot Linux and the PS5 OS? Not simultaneously — this is a soft-mod; re-run the exploit to boot Linux.
• Can I keep using my PS5 normally? Yes. The exploit is in-memory and does not modify the PS5 OS.
• After reboot I get a "Repairing" / "Your PS5 wasn't turned off properly" screen — is that normal? Yes, and it's harmless.
• Do I still need the USB if the OS is on the M.2? Yes — the payload reads bzImage, initrd.img and cmdline.txt from the USB root.
• Does the FTDI/FTP port need a password? No, the FTP server is anonymous.
