v2.2.0
Camera Gallery Card v2.2.0
New
Fullscreen image viewer
When an image is selected in gallery view, a fullscreen button now appears in the preview bar. Tapping it opens the image in a full-screen overlay. On mobile (Android/iPhone) the screen rotates to landscape automatically. Close by tapping the exit button or anywhere outside the image.
Default view
You can now set whether the card opens in Gallery or Live view by default. Found in the editor under the General tab, at the top.
Aspect ratio in live view
A new button in the live controls bar lets you quickly switch between 16:9, 4:3 and 1:1. The chosen ratio is remembered per camera — set it once and the card restores it automatically when switching cameras.
Pinch to zoom in fullscreen
You can now zoom in on the live camera feed while in fullscreen:
- Android / iPhone: pinch with two fingers to zoom in/out, pan with one finger
- Mac: pinch on the trackpad or use Ctrl + scroll wheel
- Desktop: Ctrl + scroll wheel, zooms in at the cursor position
Zoom resets automatically when closing fullscreen.
Fixed
Autoplay in media source mode and Android
Videos now start automatically when Autoplay is enabled, including when using media sources (Blue Iris, Reolink, NAS, etc.) and on the Android Home Assistant app.
Cover / Contain now applies everywhere
The Cover / Contain setting previously had no effect on thumbnails and preview video. The setting now applies correctly throughout the card.
Date and time for Reolink recordings
Recordings from Reolink cameras are now correctly grouped by day, with the timestamp visible in each thumbnail (e.g. 18:47).
Removed
Preview height setting
The preview_height config option has been removed. Use the aspect_ratio option instead (16:9, 4:3, or 1:1).
