Due to the transition to the new updater.exe based auto-updating system, this will be the final release that includes a portable .zip version. Future releases will only be distributed via the standard installer to ensure seamless updates and optimal performance.

Version 1.5.9 is now available. This major stable update introduces a highly requested brand new display mode, a rebuilt updater, and tons of stability improvements to make the trucking experience smoother than ever.

  • A sleek, focused overlay mode designed to show only the most essential telemetry data without cluttering the screen.
  • Features smooth text transition animations and dynamic color synchronization (e.g., speed warnings turn red synchronously with the main window).
  • This feature has officially graduated from Beta and is now available to all Supporter tiers.
• New EXE-Based Auto Updater 🔄
  • Completely rebuilt the updater system. The widget now uses a dedicated, standalone updater.exe for seamless, robust application updates.
  • Upgrading to future versions will now be much smoother and more reliable, with an improved installer UI.

🛠️ Enhancements & Quality of Life

• Custom Speed Warning Audio: The Speed Warning feature now plays a custom warning.m4a sound that reliably loops every second while the speed exceeds the limit, acting as a proper alarm.
• License Key Validation: Added strict format validation for License Keys. The widget now automatically converts lowercase letters to uppercase, trims accidental spaces, and checks for the correct format (TSW-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) before activation to prevent typos.
• Improved License UI: Added a handy "Get License" button in the activation menu that directs users straight to the donation page, and improved visual sync logic for premium features upon downgrading or upgrading.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Single-Instance Protection (Mutex): Fixed a major issue where the widget could accidentally be launched multiple times, causing invisible "phantom processes" to linger in the background and ignore settings changes.
• Speed Limiter "Stuck Brake" Fix: Fixed a critical bug where abruptly closing the widget (via Taskbar or Alt+F4) while the Speed Limiter was braking would leave the brake key permanently stuck in the game. The widget now guarantees a clean shutdown and releases all simulated keys properly.
• Tooltip Hitboxes Fixed: The info icons (ⓘ) in the Settings menu now have proper transparent hitboxes. Tooltips will now reliably appear when hovering anywhere over the icon, not just on the thin lines.
• Speed Warning Reset Bug: Fixed an issue where the free Speed Warning threshold settings were accidentally being wiped to zero during application startup or when running without a license.
• Speed Value Appearance Bug: Fixed a visual bug where custom appearance colors applied to the widget would not correctly apply to the current speed text after the speed warning color had activated.
• Animation Stability: Fixed UI "flickering" and text jittering during language switches by intelligently suppressing layout animations during localization updates.
