macOS note (updated): this build does not open on macOS. It reports
"Backspace.app is damaged and can't be opened", and the right-click and Open
workaround does not get past it. Use 1.0.1
or later instead. Auto-update is not available on macOS; Windows and Linux
(AppImage) update automatically.
