Smriti v2.0 - The Elegant Desktop Update ✨

Welcome to the largest update to Smriti yet! This release completely overhauls the user experience, transforming it into a deeply customizable, premium desktop companion.

🌟 New Features

  • Interactive Translations: Popups now show just the Sanskrit verse by default. Click the new ⓘ (Info) button to smoothly expand the card and reveal the English translation when you have time to read it.
  • Click-Through Mode: You can now make popups entirely "ghost-like" from the Settings menu. Your mouse clicks and scrolls will pass straight through the popup to the window beneath it, ensuring zero interruptions to your workflow.
  • Granular Font Control: Complete control over your reading experience. You can now independently set the font sizes for the Sanskrit text, the English translation, and the UI elements for maximum eye comfort.
  • Quick-Hide & Pause: Hold Ctrl + Click on any popup to instantly dismiss it. You can also configure a dedicated button to instantly dismiss the popup and pause the timer at the same time.

🎨 Design & Branding

  • New Branding: Introduced the new Golden Lamp medallion logo, which now appears in your system tray, window titles, and taskbar.
  • Overhauled Settings UI: The settings panel has been restyled with a sleek dark mode and gold accents to match the popups.

🗃️ The Shloka Manager

  • We've included a completely standalone Shloka Manager .exe in this bundle.
  • Rather than manually editing .csv files, you can use this elegant companion app to Search, Add, Update, and Delete your favorite verses.
  • Fully styled in the same premium dark mode as the main app, complete with a Light/Dark theme toggle in the View menu!

⚙️ How to install:

  1. Download Smriti-Windows.zip below.
  2. Extract the folder anywhere on your computer.
  3. Double-click Smriti.exe to start the app, or Shloka Manager.exe to manage your verses!
