Built with Flask, MySQL, and Jinja templates, this project demonstrates a full-stack web application with a dynamic frontend and a powerful backend.

🎯 Installation & Setup

1️⃣ Clone the Repository

$ git clone https://github.com/Theocode12/AirBnB_API.git
$ cd AirBnB_API

2️⃣ Set Up a Virtual Environment

$ python -m venv venv
$ source venv/bin/activate  # Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

3️⃣ Install Dependencies

$ pip install -r requirements.txt

4️⃣ Set Up the Database

$ mysql -u root -p  # Log into MySQL
mysql> CREATE DATABASE airbnb_clone;
mysql> exit;

$ flask db upgrade  # Run database migrations

5️⃣ Run the Application

$ flask run

The application should now be accessible at http://127.0.0.1:5000
