Version 26.09.05 - Released September 5, 2026

Fixed

  • Duplicate detection — hybrid RID handling

    • Arrival passes (cache + DB): soft radio-ID guard — known different unit IDs are kept so distinct talkers that finish uploading together are not collapsed.
    • Radio-timestamp last pass: ignores RID so same-PTT multi-site copies that disagree on radio ID still drop. Feeder and API key are never part of matching.
    • Admin Audio Settings copy updated.
  • Livefeed — patched calls stream as one talkgroup

    • Formal P25 patches no longer fan in as a PATCH-style multi-match to the client. The server picks one enabled talkgroup from primary ∪ patches (prefer primary), clears patches on the outbound payload, and sends a single CALL. Avoid on the primary stops hearing it as that TG; another selected patch member can still receive it once as that member.
  • Livefeed — universal cross-talkgroup emit dedupe

    • When the same PTT is uploaded as separate calls on different talkgroups (same system, same source, same radio timestamp), each livefeed client is streamed once within a short window. Soft when source is missing (analog / unknown unit). Applies to every system — not limited to a specific county or talkgroup set. Calls remain stored for search/history.
  • Duplicate detection — radio timestamp last pass

    • After arrival-time cache/DB checks, a final pass drops same system/talkgroup uploads whose radio (P25) timestamp falls within duplicateRadioTimestampWindow (default 1200 ms; 0 disables). Admin Audio Settings exposes the new control.
  • Transcript collector — public self-serve key page removed

    • Visitors on transcripts.thinlineds.com can browse and download training data, but /register no longer mints a key. System admins still request a key from the TLR Transcripts UI to send training clips.

Added

  • Mobile — Server admin (system admins)
    • Scanner Management → scanner settings now has a Server admin section for system admins. Systems expand to show their talkgroups. Groups edit talkgroup access and delays. Users open a management screen (profile, group, subscription status, PIN expiration, group/system admin, verified, suspend, password, delete). Uses PIN SSO and merge-only APIs so phones are not IP-locked to /admin and full system saves are not required.

Changed

  • Scanner client — Signal UI

    • End-user scanner, incident map, auth/onboarding, and group-admin now use the Signal design system (obsidian, ember, Inter / Space Grotesk). The LCD/hardware look is gone. /admin is unchanged.
    • Alerts list uses keyword-colored chips, glass cards, and a filled Play control so matches are easier to scan.
  • Coverage map rebuilds when operators change coverage

    • www.thinlineradio.com/coverage now serves a live /data/coverage.json from the public directory instead of a dated snapshot. Saving coverage (or registering / going private) invalidates the cache so the map updates on the next load.
