Modern build of DevilutionX (Diablo 1 + Hellfire) updated for the latest devkitPro / libnx toolchain and Nintendo Switch firmware / Atmosphere.

Features

  • Rebuilt using the modern devkitPro toolchain (GCC 15.2.0, latest libnx, static SDL2).
  • Embedded RomFS containing all fonts, UI graphics, translations, and sound effects.
  • Full touch screen and Joy-Con controller support.
  • Updated NACP metadata (Author: Thorhax, Version: 1.6.0 NX).

Installation

  1. Extract devilutionx_switch_build.zip to the root of your SD card (puts files into /switch/devilutionx/).
  2. Copy diabdat.mpq from your CD or GoG install folder into /switch/devilutionx/.
    • Optional: To run Hellfire expansion, also copy hellfire.mpq, hfmonk.mpq, hfmusic.mpq, and hfvoice.mpq.
  3. Launch devilutionx.nro via Title Override (hold R on any game).
