🛠 Modernization & Port Details

  • Modern devkitPro Toolchains: Built using devkitA64 (GCC 15.2.0, libnx 4.12.0).
  • Hardware Acceleration: Accelerated rendering via switch-mesa and switch-glad with custom GLSL shaders.
  • Embedded RomFS: Core shaders, fonts, default controller mappings, and language string tables (ENGLISH.DAT2) are embedded into the NRO.
  • Visual Glitch Fixes: Fixed background hazard animations (fighter jet bullets, impact sparks, dust clouds in Desert Arena) and restored correct sprite shader remap calculations.
  • Clean Audio & Native Performance: High-fidelity sound effects and module music via switch-sdl2_mixer, switch-opusfile, and vendored libxmp. SD card debug logging removed for optimal 60 FPS performance.
