RepoScope v0.3.0
RepoScope now explains queried repositories for people, using more of the project information already present in README-first public evidence.
Highlights:
- concrete capability, workflow, architecture, and adoption takeaways replace count-led summaries
- each takeaway and deterministic commentary keeps a visible source
- common feature, download, installation, quick-start, usage, development, and ordinary table content is retained within existing bounds
- selected public guides can supplement scenarios and onboarding commands while README evidence stays first
- optional expert prompt 1.2.0 explains input, path, result, module responsibilities, prerequisites, and practical limits
- improved responsive metadata typography and stable single-worker test scheduling
All deterministic analysis, privacy, source attribution, inert command rendering, scoring rules, and evidence caps remain unchanged. The expert human scorecard is still intentionally required before an expert deployment can be treated as release-ready.
RepoScope v0.2.1
Security hardening
- Replaces incomplete regular-expression markup filtering with bounded, linear scanners before repository evidence can reach the optional expert service.
- Separates ordinary quoted-tag parsing from script/style raw-text closing rules.
- Prevents malformed markup from reconstructing active tags while preserving source-line accounting and safe version comparators.
- Adds adversarial regressions for malformed tags, quoted boundaries, unclosed raw-text blocks and scanner complexity.
There are no UI or API breaking changes in this patch release.
Verification
- 2,587 frontend tests, 311 server tests and 6 evaluation tests passed.
- 36 desktop/mobile browser tests passed.
- Bundle budgets and three strict Lighthouse runs passed.
- CodeQL, CI and GitHub Pages checks passed on the release commit.
- Open CodeQL alerts: 0.
RepoScope v0.2.0
RepoScope v0.2.0 makes the public GitHub repository report substantially easier for people to read and use before adopting a project.
Highlights
- A README-first, evidence-linked project dossier with a decision summary and six reader-focused chapters covering purpose and reliability, core architecture, setup and development, security and privacy, maintenance and alternatives, and concrete use cases.
- Exact Stars, Watch, Forks, issue, activity, archive, and license facts when the optional expert service is deployed, with explicit unknown states instead of invented data.
- A clearer first screen and public description, a direct feedback path through Discussions, and an explicit distinction from DAYU.
- More natural Simplified Chinese wording while preserving repository text, technical terms, citations, and safety boundaries.
- Complete desktop/mobile browser gates, server type checking, deterministic expert-evaluation validation, and a three-run direct Lighthouse gate.
- React Hooks 7.1.1 compatibility fixed in application code without weakening lint rules.
- Compatible lint dependency updates; the vulnerable
@lhci/clidevelopment chain was removed, and the full dependency audit is clean.
Verification
- 2,587 frontend tests and 303 server tests
- 92.06% statement / 87.14% branch coverage
- 36/36 desktop and mobile Playwright tests
- Lighthouse 3/3: performance 0.99, accessibility 1.00, best practices 1.00, SEO 1.00
- Main CI, CodeQL, and GitHub Pages deployment all passed
The optional expert briefing remains disabled unless its separate deployment, OAuth, and human scorecard requirements are deliberately configured. The public browser-local analyzer remains available without login.
RepoScope v0.1.1
RepoScope v0.1.1 is a maintainability release with no scoring or report-semantics changes.
Changed:
- Split the Python and cross-file analyzers into cohesive private modules while preserving ruleset 1.0.0.
- Added useful documentation for stable cross-module APIs.
- Expanded bilingual installation and report walkthrough guidance.
- Isolated instrumented performance tests from cross-suite CPU contention in release gates.
Validation:
- 847 tests passed with coverage floors enforced.
- Desktop and mobile browser E2E: 20/20 passed.
- Lighthouse: 1.00 in performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO across three runs.
- Production bundle and lazy analyzer budgets passed.
RepoScope v0.1.0
First public release: bilingual, read-only, browser-side project quality reports for public GitHub repositories.
