Download

HydraMixer-0.6-win64.zip: unzip and start Hydra Mixer.exe. No installer, no runtime needed. Windows 10/11 64-bit, CPU with AVX2.

Highlights

  • Up to 16 inputs, 8 hardware outputs (A1–A8), 8 virtual outputs (B1–B8). Channels can be added, removed, renamed and reordered.
  • One master clock (ideally ASIO) with no extra buffering. All other devices (WASAPI, more ASIO interfaces, loopback, per-app capture) are attached through drift-compensated resampling.
  • Per input: RNNoise denoiser (0–30 ms modes), 8-band EQ, gate with Voice Key, compressor, VST3 chain, sync delay.
  • Per bus: EQ, limiter, VST3 chain, SEL send mixes, monitoring.
  • Recorder (B bus → WAV) and player into any bus, with waveform, seek, loop and trim.
  • MIDI Learn on every control (APC mini LED / fader support), global keyboard and mouse hotkeys, scenes, global undo.
  • Latency Finder, DSP Load, Voicemeeter Potato settings import, tray, start with Windows.

Known limitations

  • No Hydra playback or recording devices of its own (no driver yet). Apps can't pick Hydra as speaker or microphone. Workarounds: per-app capture, loopback, VB-Audio Cable, Virtual Audio Cable or Voicemeeter's virtual devices. See the README.
  • Early release: the DSP and UI are covered by offline tests, but real-world testing with different hardware (several ASIO interfaces, VST3 plugins, MIDI controllers) has been limited. Please report issues.
  • The denoiser is bypassed at engine rates other than 48 kHz.
