On second thought merge to main branch has advantages such as additional r-universe builds which is an extended test surface for us so will merge. New SC and branch for final are cheap enough. |

New PR for rc1 as I had merged/closed the one for rc0.
May try to keep this one open for 2.20.0 aka "final".
