Patch release fixing custom (downloaded) avatars that rendered as white silhouettes.
Fixed
- True-color avatar art now decodes. The DIB decoder only handled ≤8-bit palette images, so custom avatars authored as 24-bit (or 32-/16-bit) true-color rendered as an empty white silhouette with only a black outline. The decoder now handles 24-/32-/16-bpp true-color planes — downloaded custom characters render in full color, in the comic strip and the character picker.
All bundled characters were unaffected; this only changed how downloaded true-color .avb art is drawn. Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple — opens with no extra steps. Apple Silicon & Intel; macOS 14+.
