📢 Important Notice: Final Legacy (TVicPort) Release

This release (v2.7.1) is the final release of TPFanCtrl2 that includes and bundles the legacy TVicPort driver toolkit (TVicPort.dll, TVicPort.sys, TVicPort64.sys) for 32-bit legacy ThinkPad hardware environments.

Important

Subsequent releases completely retire TVicPort.
Moving forward, TPFanCtrl2 focuses exclusively on modern 64-bit architecture (x64) and the secure, WHQL-compliant PawnIO kernel driver compatible with Windows 11 Memory Integrity (HVCI).

📦 What's Included in This Release

1. Legacy TVicPort Driver Toolkit (drivers/legacy-tvicport/)

• TVicPort.dll: 32-bit user-mode DLL (bundled in application root for immediate discovery on 32-bit systems).
• TVicPort.sys: 32-bit kernel driver for legacy 32-bit Windows.
• TVicPort64.sys: 64-bit kernel driver for legacy 64-bit environments.
• install-driver.cmd: Automated administrator installer script to register and start the kernel driver service.
• uninstall-driver.cmd: Automated administrator cleanup script to stop and remove the service.

2. Modern Windows 11 Support (PawnIO)

• Native support for modern ThinkPads using the PawnIO driver.
• Embedded and pre-validated LpcACPIEC.bin module for safe Embedded Controller (EC) port I/O under Windows 11 Core Isolation / Memory Integrity.

3. Application Binaries & Assets

• GUI Application (TPFanCtrl2.exe): Dear ImGui + Vulkan graphical interface.
• CLI Utility (TPFanCtrl2-cli.exe): Lightweight command-line hardware control tool for scripting and PowerShell.
• WinGet Manifests: Validated package manifests for Tinnci.TPFanCtrl2 v2.7.1.
