Pre-release Test Build 🧪

AddressAlarm 🚨

AddressAlarm is an open-source Android app that helps anyone flag and avoid risky, curious or problematic addresses.
It runs 100% on-device, watching for addresses through Accessibility, and alerts you when a location matches your personal "do-not-enter" or "use caution" list.

Test build label: The current pre-release APK installs under the launcher codename 🚨FlagDrive 🚨 You will see this name when granting permissions or enabling the accessibility service. The branding will switch to AddressAlarm in a future build.

Originally designed with gig workers in mind, the tool now serves a much broader purpose — useful for law enforcement, social workers, real estate agents, contractors, utility workers, and the general public who want a personal safety layer for navigating locations.

This is an early alpha build of AddressAlarm for testing purposes. Please report any bugs or feedback in the Issues tab!

What's New:

  • Initial implementation of the on-device address matching.
  • Basic UI for adding and flagging addresses.

Known Issues:

  • Import/Export feature is not yet functional.
  • May have high battery usage (optimizations are planned).

To install:

  1. Download the AddressAlarm_v.0.1.42_alpha.apk` file below.

  2. You may need to enable "Install unknown apps" in your Android settings. See our Installation Guide for help.

  3. 🚨Check out https://github.com/TohnJravolta/AddressAlarm/blob/main/docs/INSTALLATION.md for details on how to FINISH SET-UP as the system requires additional accessibility and notification permissions and options to be enabled in your system for the system to be able to work and detect matches with your database.
