v0.10.2 — withdrawn
This release has been withdrawn. Its assets have been removed. Use v0.10.3 or later.
Why it was withdrawn
v0.10.2 was the first release to ship native Linux packages (.deb/.rpm/.apk/.pkg.tar.zst). Those packages embedded a private personal email address in their maintainer: metadata field — a field that is not internal: it is served publicly in the apt Packages index and is copied into every user's /var/lib/apt/lists/.
Package metadata cannot be edited after the fact, so the assets were removed rather than replaced in place. This tag is kept as a marker: on a tool that people install and trust, a release that silently disappears is worse than one that says what happened.
What changed in the replacement
v0.10.3 is functionally identical. It carries the publisher role identity Tom Tonic <tom@tomtonic.de> instead, and its install instructions point at the renamed package repository pkg.tomtonic.de.
If you installed v0.10.2
Nothing about the binary was affected — only metadata. Upgrading normally is enough:
sudo apt update && sudo apt install --only-upgrade prune_backups # or dnf/apk/pacman
