AbyssBeacon v1.5.1 — Scrolling and Download Fixes

Choose a tag to compare

@Tomat0223 Tomat0223 released this 23 Oct 16:02

A small follow-up to v1.5.0 addressing three browsing and download issues:

  • Feed scrolling: fixed cards shifting between columns as more models load or earlier models return into view.
  • Download folders: cards containing multiple architectures now use the selected file/version’s architecture instead of placing every download into the first architecture’s folder.
  • Completion messages: finishing a download while viewing another card now shows the correct model name and updates the original card’s downloaded badge.

These fixes apply to future downloads; files already saved are not moved automatically.

Updating from v1.5.0: back up your installation, close AbyssBeacon, and replace the application files with the updated release. Preserve your database and personal settings. No additional Update Library is required.

AbyssBeacon v1.5.0 — Better browsing and source details

Choose a tag to compare

@Tomat0223 Tomat0223 released this 23 Oct 14:39

Quite a few changes in this one!

Browsing improvements

  • Models stay New until you explicitly mark visible or all models as seen.
  • Returning from a collection or creator page preserves your feed position.
  • Filter by multiple architectures.
  • Collapsible scan selectors include Select All and Clear controls.
  • Opening Options prevents the background feed from scrolling.

Model details and previews

  • Read Hugging Face and ModelScope collection READMEs inside AbyssBeacon.
  • Source/version selections update About text, dates, downloads, and likes.
  • Source-colored version pills and clearer CivitAI/Red statistics.
  • Popularity sorting uses relevant version statistics instead of unrelated listing totals.
  • Improved metadata readability and image navigation.
  • Fixed About and Metadata controls on cards without previews.
  • Preview counters consistently use x of y.

Safer model matching

  • Whole-card matching requires complete matching model-weight/version inventories.
  • Shared support files and partial bundles do not qualify.
  • Matching is restricted to CivitAI, CivitAI Red, SeaArt, and TensorHub.
  • Hugging Face and ModelScope listings remain separate.
  • Existing-library merge review is optional and read-only by default. Applying qualifying merges requires an explicit command and creates a backup.

Existing users: Update Library

Back up your AbyssBeacon folder before upgrading.

Run Options > Library > Update Library when a pending metadata upgrade is offered.

Large libraries may take several hours, especially older CivitAI/Red entries requiring individual version requests. Keep AbyssBeacon running and prevent your computer from sleeping until completion.

Successfully upgraded entries do not need the same upgrade again.

Update Library refreshes metadata; it does not apply optional merge proposals.

The README now lists all 20 built-in architecture choices, including MOSS, Qwen Image 2.1, and Fibo, with source-specific availability notes.

AbyssBeacon 1.4.0 — URL imports and expanded model discovery

Choose a tag to compare

@Tomat0223 Tomat0223 released this 22 Oct 03:53

Import / scan by URL: paste a supported model or creator page into Search Sources. AbyssBeacon detects its source and uses the existing source connection. Supports Hugging Face, ModelScope, CivitAI, CivitAI Red, SeaArt, and TensorHub Art page formats. Source authentication and service limits still apply.

MOSS: enable SeaArt's MOSS Image category, mapped to the SFT variant rather than MOSS Image Base.

Fibo: add separate Fibo 2.0 Dev and Fibo 2.0 Edit Turbo discovery on Hugging Face and ModelScope. Ambiguous combined repositories are not forced into one variant.

Krea 2 Turbo: normal Krea 2 scans now include both regular and Turbo categories on CivitAI and CivitAI Red.

Preview handling: request smaller TensorHub previews before downloading originals, retain image-size protections, filter SVG badges and logos, and try a limited number of alternative gallery images when a cover cannot be cached. Failed thumbnail caching does not discard the model.

Quieter diagnostics: routine preview errors stay in the diagnostic log; oversized-image safety skips remain visible.

Existing databases, account connections, and Firefox Companion downloads are preserved. Development test files are excluded from this release update.

Release v1.3.10: improve SeaArt reliability and add TensorHub MOSS

@Tomat0223 Tomat0223 released this 21 Oct 02:05

Improve SeaArt Firefox startup with bounded retries, diagnostic logs, console window suppression, and reliable browser cleanup.

Add bounded HTTP connection retries and better scan cancellation and error reporting while preserving parallel scanning across sources.

Enable separate TensorHub searches for MOSS Image SFT and MOSS Image Base.

Bump the version to 1.3.10. All 25 offline regression tests pass.

Add MOSS Image and expand FLUX 3 source support

@Tomat0223 Tomat0223 released this 17 Oct 06:22

Add MOSS Image and MOSS Image Base scanning for CivitAI, CivitAI Red, Hugging Face and ModelScope. Add FLUX 3 Klein support for SeaArt and TensorHub, plus Klein Base support for TensorHub. Keep the variants classified separately and skip unsupported source filters.
Validation: combined scans passed in the personal installation. Git Python syntax, Tensor taxonomy and scan-plan checks passed.

Add FLUX 3 architecture support

@Tomat0223 Tomat0223 released this 16 Oct 01:32

Add FLUX.3, FLUX.3 Klein and FLUX.3 Klein Base as separate architecture selections for CivitAI, CivitAI Red, Hugging Face and ModelScope. Keep variant classification separate and skip SeaArt/TensorHub scans until those sources support FLUX 3 filters.
Tested successfully in the personal installation, including repeat scanning and architecture checks. Git scan-plan and Python syntax checks passed.

AbyssBeacon v1.3.7 — New Firefox add-on and scanning fixes

Choose a tag to compare

@Tomat0223 Tomat0223 released this 11 Oct 00:12

Description:

  • Created a new Firefox add-on to help download CivitAI Red models that require browser verification. Downloads continue through AbyssBeacon’s Download Manager and save to your configured folders.
  • Improved SeaArt scanning reliability when scanning multiple architectures.
  • Fixed missing video previews in repository collections.
  • Improved Hugging Face video discovery from model descriptions.
    Firefox 140+ is required for the optional helper. The signed add-on and installation instructions are included. Chrome/Edge companion support is not included.

AbyssBeacon v1.3.6 — Qwen Image 2.1 Support

Choose a tag to compare

@Tomat0223 Tomat0223 released this 29 Sep 01:44

Qwen Image 2.1 is now available as an architecture selection across all six sources. CivitAI, CivitAI Red, SeaArt, and TensorHub use their source-specific base model filters; Hugging Face and ModelScope use keyword searches.

This release also improves SeaArt filter reliability, prevents unrelated models from entering Qwen scans, and corrects existing Qwen Image 2.1 models previously classified as Other.

AbyssBeacon v1.3.5 – SeaArt Filter Compatibility Fix

Choose a tag to compare

@Tomat0223 Tomat0223 released this 23 Sep 00:19

AbyssBeacon v1.3.5 updates SeaArt scanning to support SeaArt's latest Models filter UI.

Highlights:

  • Fixed SeaArt scans failing after recent filter UI changes
  • Resets persisted Base Model filters between architecture scans
  • Prevents one SeaArt architecture from affecting the next
  • Uses generic Base Model handling instead of architecture-specific logic
  • Preserves the authenticated SeaArt browser session between scans
  • Improves cleanup when SeaArt scans fail
  • Improves SeaArt Connect/Reconnect error reporting

Verified with Krea 2 and MiniMax-H3 scanning successfully in the same run.

This release is primarily a compatibility and reliability update for SeaArt users.
