Update install paths

This commit changes install paths for required libraries. They are currently set to hardcoded paths in the CI's build environment by default on MacOS, which prevents them from working in the proto environment. This commit adjusts the paths to be relative, which should fix this issue.

Fix attestations again

This commit moves the permissions to the correct workflow context. It will still require adjustments to the GITHUB_TOKEN in the repo settings.

Also fixes badges in the readme.
