Third stable release. Focuses on gaps that only surface at edge times: a backup you actually restore, an AI provider that just retired your model, an oai-compat endpoint you point at LM Studio. Plus a proper documentation site.

Highlights

  • Unified docs site. traceapps.github.io/docs/ covers CookTrace + LiftTrace + NutriTrace with shared setup pages and per-app deep dives.
  • Backup fidelity restored. 12 tables that were silently missing from the portable JSON export are now captured. Plus a real restore-ordering bug fixed (kitchen-share provenance no longer nulled on restore).
  • AI provider fixes. Current Gemini default (gemini-2.5-flash) + auto-remap of retired IDs. GPT-5.6 chat parameters. oai-compat vision requests fixed.

Also in this release

  • README restructured for the docs-site era (491 → 185 lines).
  • Welcome-on-registration email removed for parity with LT + NT.
  • Hybrid dev-release channel model documented (rolling dev-latest + milestone v<version>-dev.N).
  • Env-var doc/code alignment.

Upgrade

docker compose pull && docker compose up -d

Data survives. Auth cookie survives. Existing users don't need to do anything.
