v1.2.0-dev07
Pre-release
Pre-release
Seventh dev pre-release of the 1.2.0 minor. Two big themes: wide-screen
layouts (rails now stay put on scroll) and a proper update-notification
loop that finally tells you when a new version is out.
Added
- Updates: check-frequency picker in Settings → Updates (Hourly /
Every 4 Hours / Every 12 Hours / Once a Day / Manual Only). Defaults
to every 4 hours. Persisted per-user across devices. - Updates: red dot on the Settings nav icon whenever a new version
is available and hasn't been dismissed. Clears the moment you tap
"Skip This Version" or the banner's dismiss button.
Changed
- Updates: PWA now actually notices new deploys. The service worker
is prompt-based instead of silent-auto-update, so a fresh build no
longer swaps out from under you with no warning. A "Reload" banner
offers to apply the new bundle. Also polls forsw.jschanges on the
same cadence you pick above, and on visibility change, so a long-lived
tab surfaces updates in minutes instead of the browser's default 24h. - Updates: Android shows both an OS notification AND an in-app banner
(previously it was either/or). Both respect the same "Skip This
Version" flag — one dismiss clears every surface for that version. - Wide-screen layouts on Diary + Foods stay welded to the viewport.
The Diary right rail (Body Stats / Water / Activity widgets) and the
Foods page's Sources sidebar + food preview no longer drift on
scroll or slip off near the bottom of the page. Fixed properly via
the portal-plus-position:fixed pattern instead of sticky.
Fixed
- Wellness page:
getLatestWellnessno longer crashes — mentioned
it in dev06 notes but the fix relies on the proxy stub that also
landed in this cycle; both are now working together on Android.
Security
- No new dependencies.
npm auditreports 0 vulnerabilities.
