Asked about Concerns about Security, and Licensing Questions

Wants to use an Open Source License

• Add an amendment to our license that their data is not open source but the code might be.
• [CHANGE] Search service for “GFC Committees” -
• “The General Faculties Council and it’s standing committees” should be used from here on out.

Ann’s Questions;

• “Would you be able to demo for us last Monday of March?”

  • Technical Demo (not finished product) could be provided.
  • March 19th 2018 / April 30th 2018.

  • Capture “delegations”
    • Find something in the minuets, authority has been delegated by another authority. eg. *Vice-President OP given authority to build a building.
    • Show me the authority of delegations given to committee X.
    • Board Gave Committee X - Delegation of Authority (kind of authority , whom it’s to (committee, person) In order to find approval path.

  • Examples of very specific searching;
    • Approval Navigation
    • Board deals with more confidential information - we may not have access to that. But they may want to apply our system to those PDFS.
    • Ann would like to be able to do transitional searches, how committees change and linked to the old committee.
    • Asked to expand “Certificate Handbook”
    • Ask about Panel duration (data would come from membership and contact tables)
    • Policy Documents would like to show the name of the particular section, “Strings within a section and sections within themselves”
