Steps to install

You can follow this guide here to install a GSI (replace the GSI on the post with your preferred one). If you don't have a PC but you have another Android phone with OTG support, there are alternatives:

Hardware support

Everything works as normal with full functionality from the stock firmware except bugs:

  • Mobile data
  • MMS
  • Bluetooth (if it doesn't work, select Mediatek in Misc features, Bluetooth workarounds)
  • Offline charging (depends on the GSI)
  • Touch (doesn't work after turning off the screen)
  • Light sensor (doesn't show auto-brightness in settings)
  • Proximity (if it doesn't work, enable extra sensors in Samsung features)
  • Brightness (sometimes jumps or stuck)
  • Macro camera (depends on the GSI)
  • MTP
  • GPU (CPU rendering by default even after enabling Mediatek rendering fixes)
  • MTK spamming power 6 in logcat

Untested: Jack, PTP, USB tethering
