Added

  • Measure guides: press H or V to add a horizontal or vertical guide at the pointer. Guides snap to nearby edges, show the distance between neighbouring guides, and move with a drag or the arrow keys (⇧ for 10 pt). Tab selects the next guide, ⌫ removes it.
  • Measure on every display: all displays freeze and can be measured at once. Keys go to the display under the pointer.

Install

  1. Download Marquee-0.5.9.dmg below and drag Marquee into Applications.
  2. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open (the build isn't notarized yet).
  3. Allow Screen & System Audio Recording when macOS asks.

Already using Marquee? It updates itself: Check for Updates… in the menu bar.

Universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 13 or later.
