Banana Design 0.10.2 adds a Chinese/English interface, richer editorial cover templates, and a clearer source layout.

• Expanded article-led templates with human narrative, opinion collage, lifestyle photography and literary painting, seven original generated-cover previews, and refined typography.
• Cover and article-illustration rules stay independent. Existing selections, custom templates, history and output paths are preserved.
• Organized source by responsibility and moved build tooling into scripts/.

Installation and validation

Download main.js, manifest.json and styles.css into <vault>/.obsidian/plugins/banana-design/. Retain your existing data.json and generated images. Requires Obsidian 1.11.4+, desktop only.

The reproducible bundle and all 15 regression checks pass. Native macOS Obsidian 1.14.4 checks covered language switching, reload persistence, settings, model forms, workspace tabs and template descriptions. No new live paid-provider generation was performed for this release.

The bundle exceeds the 5 MB Obsidian Sync Standard per-file limit; install separately on each desktop when using that plan. A GitHub Release does not itself establish completed marketplace review.

Banana Design 0.10.1

Banana Design 0.10.1 prepares the article-led cover and illustration workspace for standard Obsidian installation.

• Bundles all helper modules, both template previews and third-party notices in main.js, so the standard three-file installer is sufficient.
• Fixes the template library/editor overwriting Obsidian Modal.scope, which prevented dialogs from opening.
• Requires HTTPS for remote model endpoints and validates generated-image paths after resolving symlinks.
• Preserves banana-design, the open command, existing settings, SecretStorage references and image history.

Install the three attached files in .obsidian/plugins/banana-design/. Preserve existing data.json when upgrading. Obsidian 1.11.4+ on desktop is required.

Validation: reproducible build and 10 targeted tests; native Obsidian 1.14.4 QA in a clean temporary vault covered settings, article and template selection, embedded previews, local image import, actual 900 x 383 PNG export (byte-identical to the saved image), and cover insertion. Live paid-provider generation and Windows/Linux were not retested in this release pass.

The plugin is MIT licensed with Qiaomu Design attribution retained and embedded. See README and THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES for account, network, external file access and licensing details.

Published in the official Obsidian Community directory on 2026-10-19. The automated review completed with Health: Excellent / Review: Satisfactory, and build verification reproduced main.js byte-for-byte. The public listing provides Add to Obsidian and displays the remaining warnings.

Sync limitation: main.js is 5,507,343 bytes, so Obsidian Sync Standard cannot sync it. Install separately on each desktop when using that plan. The CLI integration's filesystem/shell access and other review warnings are documented in the README and visible on the listing.
